How to use Urn

If there's one thing to remember about Urn, it's this: you send an email only when something worthwhile happens.

1. Accrue a list over time

  • You get a link for people to enter your list. They type in their email address, we double verify it, and then we add them to your list. We keep your list clean by handling bounces, complaints and unsubscribes.
  • You place the link anywhere you'd like people to see it. There's no rush. The goal is to accrue a list over time so that when you're ready to launch something you have a list to launch to.

2. Use the narrative workflows

  • Urn has predetermined events that we consider interesting. We built narrative workflows, which are like guided prompts that shape your input, for each event.
  • Currently we have narrative workflows for:
    • A Book you liked
    • A Youtube video you enjoyed
    • A tiny Problem you found a solution to
    • A new Project launch

3. Launch a new project

  • 10 subscribers or a 1000 subscribers, it doesn't mattter, because you've got someone to directly send your new project to.
  • Use our narrative workflow to launch your project with a short, engaging launch email.
  • That's it. That's Urn. You probably don't need it, but still, good luck.
